Ryann & Coulter’s Wedding: May 26, 2013
The Valenches Music Company recently had the pleasure of working with Ryann and Coulter to coordinate live music for their May 26, 2013 wedding — tailoring it just to their liking. The couple opted for a string trio (2 violins & cello) to provide beautiful music for their guests’ arrival, as well as their ceremony.In addition to many classical and operatic selections, the Valenches Music Company performed Bruce Springsteen’s “Thunder Road,” a surprise recessional, which we arranged for string trio exclusively for Ryann and Coulter.

About Ryann & Coulter…
“We are both journalists who met in 2007 while working in the newsroom of The Citizens’ Voice in Wilkes Barre, PA. Ryann is a Northeastern Pennsylvania native and Coulter grew up in Omaha, Nebraska. We then left Wilkes Barre in 2010. The area is still very special to us and we knew we wanted to get married there. We got engaged at the end of 2011 in Washington, D.C. and began planning our wedding a few months later. At the time, we were living in San Diego, California. Planning a large wedding from across the country was no easy task! We knew we wanted a string trio to play during our wedding ceremony and found the Valenches Music Company through a Google search.”
The Wedding Ceremony & Music…
“We were married on May 26, 2013 during a short ceremony at the Luzerne County Courthouse, just a few blocks away from where we met six years ago. The string trio, dressed professionally and appropriately for a wedding, arrived right on time and played beautiful classical music while guests arrived. Their accompaniment added the perfect touch to our ceremony, and we’ll never forget how “Thunder Road” sounded as we walked down the aisle together as husband and wife.”
Their “surprise” recessional…
“Ryann also wanted to surprise Coulter by having the string trio play his favorite Bruce Springsteen song as the recessional. It was as easy as purchasing a copy of the sheet music and sending it to the Valenches Music Company. They arranged it for string trio very affordably and it sounded great!”
