We see that big bright sparkle in your eyes. It’s unmistakable. You’ve got a VIOLIN CRAVINGthe size of an elephant and it’s written all over your face. You need a cure. And fast.
Careful now. We’re about to knock your socks off.

OH! YEAH! We knew mushing those two little words together would get your heart palpitating. The rosin is so close, you could almost taste it. But don’t. It’s a non-food substance. Though we did have a student eat some once.
From the looks of it, you’ve got a classic case of violin fever. Not to worry though. It’s a common condition and in fact, just about everyone we know has it. The Valenches children still can’t grasp that people doexist who don’t play the violin, or at least the cello.

You couldget a violin. Call a teacher. And dive into lessons head first. There’s a possibility that everything will fall into place. But then again, there’s also a possibility that it won’t.

We’d be at a total loss pursuing any of those areas, which, for us, means trial and error, frustration, and — gulp — money down the drain. The truth is, when jumping into any new area, learning the ropes is a shot in the dark. No one likes guesswork, especially when time and money are at stake. Reliable advice, the kind that’s backed by years of experience, is worth its weight in gold when you’re in need of direction.

See, it’s like this. Let’s pretend you’ve never eaten chocolate before (and if you haven’t, that makes us very nervous). We could give you a piece of brown wax, douse it in artificial chocolate flavoring, and tell you it’s chocolate. Chances are, you’d be at least satisfied with the wax impostor. It doesn’t taste completely terrible, and so what if it’s a little chewier than expected? Lots of people love chocolate so this must be what it’s all about, right?
Or…
We could give you a piece of rich, creamy milk chocolate, made with pure organic ingredients and real vanilla. (Side Note: If you haven’t had Green & Black’s, then you haven’t lived). Just one bite will have your taste buds dancing to Bach in sheer delight. Without a doubt, the luxurious, real chocolate puts the brown block of wax to shame, but if you’ve only ever tasted the wax block, then how would you know the difference?
