Today marks the 2nd annual International Day of Happiness and that means HAPPINESS has become a global priority.

Hold it! We need just a moment to pause and JUMP OUT OF OUR SKIN!

Could there BE anything more exciting?

International Day of Happiness

The United Nations General Assembly identified HAPPINESS as a “fundamental human goal” back in 2011 and as a result, dedicated March 20th to the celebration of happiness  — because who couldn’t use more happiness?

That got us thinking…

Isn’t happiness the very core of music?

You bet it is!

Whether we’re playing it, teaching it, composing it or just listening to it, there’s no doubt that music makes us HAPPY — and you don’t need to be a musician to have a piece of the pie. If you’ve ever listened to the same piece of music over and over, or just simply hummed a melody under your breath, you’ve been bitten by the music bug and let’s face it, it made you happy. 🙂

Right after the act of smiling, music is the universal language. It breaks down all barriers and allows us to connect. Sharing music is really the easiest way to transfer happiness from one person to the next. Ever sing a lullaby to a baby?
